This print was released in conjunction with the opening of Backyards an exhibition by Gary Benzel, Todd St. John, and Florencio Zavala, which opened at Subliminal Projects in October 2003. The exhibition was focused on the Artist's personal experiences growing up or living in beach communities that have shaped them and their work, and all work in unpretentious mediums and disarmingly casual styles. The show loosely draws on their overlapping backgrounds and 'backyards.'
